Step by step

    Optional Planning consultation and City ADU resource review

    Review City ADU regulations and documents. Optionally meet Planning staff about goals and draft plans. City guidance and document scope

    Submit and obtain ADU Planning Permit

    Apply through eTRAKiT and upload the Planning Permit documents. Ministerial Planning Permit result or conditional Design Review route

    Submit ADU Building Permit application

    Upload City-required Building Permit materials through eTRAKiT. Building Permit review and decision

  4. 4

    Request inspections through eTRAKiT

    Request each required inspection separately at least 24 hours in advance. Keep approved plans, calculations and permit card on site. Inspection approval or correction notice
